of Conduct
This
Code of Conduct for the Central Illinois Chapter
of the Society for Human Resource Management
has been adopted to promote and maintain the highest standards
of professional and personal conduct among its members.
By joining this Chapter,
members support and uphold this Code and understand their
individual responsibilities to act in accordance with the
following pledge.
As
a member of the Central Illinois Chapter of the Society
for Human Resource Management, I pledge to:
- Promote and
sustain the highest standards of professional and personal
conduct.
- Strive for
personal growth in the field of human resource management.
- Instill in
my peer Chapter members and the community, a sense of
confidence regarding my conduct and intentions.
- Maintain the
confidentiality of privileged information.
- Recognize
that Chapter meetings, events, and other CIC-SHRM activities
are opportunities for networking and development rather
than sales contacts.
- Uphold all
laws and regulations relating to my professional activities.
- Support the
Chapter and the Society for Human Resource Management
in the shared goal of advancing the human resource management
profession.
