Member Orientation Meeting 02/10/2010 09:10:08Chapter Membership Orientation… What is it? First there are no funny hats or secret handshakes. It is a semi-annual meeting where we give members who have joined within the last 12 to 18 months an opportunity to lunch with our current board members and hear about chapter activities, resources and opportunities. Board members run though a power point presentation and talk about SHRM activities at the local, state and national levels. While no one is pressured into doing anything or joining anything, the meeting does present newer members a chance to learn about things that the local chapter does.
