The Board of the CIC-SHRM would like to invite you to an event that should be a fun evening and an opportunity to network with your peers. We would like to invite you to our 5th Annual CIC-SHRM awards banquet. The event will be held at the Illini Country Club, thanks to member chapter member Don Tracy.

This will be the fourth year for the event.   It is at this event that we celebrate and recognize the H.R. Champion and the H.R. Professional of the Year. These are the two awards that are the focus of the event. Members of the chapter are encouraged to nominate people for both of these awards. You may review this form and then down load it, to do so.

The H.R. Professional award is presented to a working professional in the field, while the H.R. Champion is given to a top level executive who supports the H.R. Profession, and is nominated by someone in their organization.

The 2009 event and the 2008 event were chronicled by a blossoming young photographer/videographer and now S.I.U. Carbondale student, Kevin Ryan (son of board member Dave Ryan).

Please look over the nomination forms and consider nominating a boss, a friend, a fellow SHRM member for one of these awards, and then attend the banquet for a fun evening with dinner and drinks at Illini Country Club.   A formal announcement will go out to chapter members in Mid-May.
