It’s the 2010 Legislative Conference on April 20 and April 21 – a two day event this year! And this year the conference is a partnership between our chapter and the Illinois State Council of SHRM. This year’s event includes a trip to the Illinois Statehouse to speak with Illinois Legislators.   Speaking with state legislators about issues, is an initiative that SHRM National is encouraging state councils and local chapters to become more involved with.

 The two day agenda include a wide ranging list of speakers and topics. The event also includes a reception on the evening of April 20th at the Springfield Hilton. So please take a look at the electronic invitation and registration and sign up before April 15th to attend this exciting event.
